Build Your Own Business
Sahara Services is proud to introduce the Programs of Support – Build Your Own Business. This program is designed to provide NDIS Participants with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to start their own business. Our aim is to empower individuals to become self-sufficient and achieve their entrepreneurial goals with our comprehensive support.
 
 The Build Your Own Business program is a comprehensive 12-week program that covers a wide range of topics related to entrepreneurship. Each week, participants will attend a session on a different topic, ranging from brand development and marketing to finance and budgeting. The program is designed to be interactive and hands-on, with practical implementation sessions where participants will work on developing their own products.
 
 Throughout the program, participants will work on developing three different products – candles, bath salts/soap bars, and a product of their choice. They will be provided with all the necessary materials and guidance to create high-quality products that reflect their unique vision and style.
 
 In addition to the weekly sessions, participants will also have the opportunity to take their products to a local market stall, where they will have the chance to sell their products and build their brand awareness. This is a valuable opportunity for participants to gain real-world experience and test their products in the marketplace.
Activity & Support Cost
Activity Cost: $450 per participant. This is all inclusive of materials and stall setup/space rental.
Support Cost: As per NDIS Pricing arrangement based on your support ratio requirements x 6 hours per week x 12 weeks + 8 hours non-face-to-face support for preparation and documentation time.
  • Activity cost must be paid in-full upfront 2 weeks prior to the start date of the program. Without payment, we will not be able to provide you the support.
  • The cancellation period for any activity in this program is 2 weeks. Any notice given that is less than 2 weeks will incur a 100% cancellation fee. This is to guarantee the program will go ahead for all participants.
  • If you believe that the program is not for you and wish to withdraw, a 2 weeks’ notice must be given.
  • Activity cost is non-refundable.
